The Rum Fiji 2001 Rozelieures Single Malt Cask CDC Selection by Plantation is born from the unique meeting of two worlds: the Caribbean tradition of rum and the influence of fine woods from a renowned French distillery. Produced from sugarcane grown on the fertile Fiji islands, this rum is aged in casks previously used for the maturation of single malt whisky from the Rozelieures distillery, in the heart of Lorraine, France.
The aging in these casks gives the spirit a surprising aromatic complexity, with notes of ripe tropical fruit, vanilla, and spicy hints of toasted wood and white pepper. On the palate, it is enveloping, smooth, and well balanced, with a long finish that recalls the elegant and refined character of French single malts.
Ideal neat for enthusiasts or as a precious base for sophisticated cocktails, this rum is a tribute to the art of maturation and the uniqueness of the Fijian territory.
