Made with a blend of rums aged in American white oak barrels, this spirit is characterized by meticulous aging that imparts complexity and smoothness to the sip. The blend uses exclusively molasses-based rums, carefully distilled to preserve the most intense aromas and offer a round and enveloping structure.
On the nose, it reveals notes of caramel, vanilla, and light touches of dried fruit, while on the palate it stands out for its harmony between sweetness and spiciness, with a slight wood note that gives depth. The finish is long and velvety, ideal to be enjoyed neat or with an ice cube that enhances its nuances.
Perfect to accompany chocolate-based desserts or as a premium ingredient in classic cocktails, Rum Maestro Reserva is a symbol of elegance and tradition that tells the story of the Dominican territory in every sip.

Distillation
Column distillation with two columns: first column operated at reduced pressure to produce a rough spirit (around 90% ABV), followed by redistillation to very high strength (up to 94.6% ABV) to obtain a light spirit; process described as double column distillation.
Ageing
Aging in casks with management of blends for variable periods (minimum 1 year up to several years); some expressions use double aging (aging in ex-bourbon barrels followed by finishing/aging in sherry casks). Barrels are selected by the Maestros Roneros and re-assembly/re-casking is used for premium reserves.
