Rum Pampero is certainly among the best known and appreciated worldwide; it has been produced in Venezuela since 1938, keeping the recipe unchanged since then. A distillate obtained from sugar cane, aged for at least 6 months in oak barrels and then slowly filtered with charcoal.
Colorless, transparent and crystalline to the eye, the olfactory profile denotes a bouquet rich in sweet hints of cotton candy and sugared almonds, accompanied by spicy nuances of vanilla and white pepper, as well as slight hints of sandalwood and smoky notes. The sip is decisive and dry, the softness accompanies a clean and dry finish characterized by sweet notes that are very pleasant on the palate.
A Rum that is not only excellent to drink neat or with ice, but perfect for recreating fabulous cocktails including, for example, an amazing Mojito.
