The Salina Rosso IGP from Colosi winery offers a unique sensory journey into the heart of the Aeolian Islands. Produced on the enchanting island of Salina, known for its fertile volcanic soil, this wine is primarily made from Nero d'Avola and Nerello Mascalese grapes. The uniqueness of the soil and the island's microclimate give this red wine distinctive and highly appreciated characteristics.

The winemaking process follows traditional methods, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and authenticity of the aromas. The wine then matures for several months in wooden barrels before being bottled, a process that further enriches its bouquet.

Visually, the Salina Rosso IGP presents an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers a rich aromatic profile of ripe red fruits, spices, and a slight mineral nuance. On the palate, it is structured and well-balanced, with good acidity supporting a long and elegant finish. Soft tannins and a persistent spicy note converge in a pleasantly harmonious finale.

This wine pairs wonderfully with hearty dishes, such as grilled red meats, game, and aged cheeses. Its versatility also makes it suitable for special evenings and tastings of typical Mediterranean dishes.

Salina Rosso IGP is not just a wine, but a true emblem of Aeolian winemaking craftsmanship, representing an excellent choice for those wishing to explore authentic and intense flavors.
