The Sancerre Blanc Nuance by Vincent Pinard is a pure and refined expression of Sauvignon Blanc, grown on the renowned limestone hills of Sancerre, in the heart of the Loire Valley in France. This wine is distinguished by its impeccable balance and an aromatic luminosity that captures the essence of this exceptional terroir.

On the nose, the Sancerre Blanc Nuance reveals intense notes of citrus, white-fleshed fruit, and subtle floral accents, accompanied by a pronounced minerality reminiscent of flint. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with a well-balanced savoriness that leads to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Vincent Pinard is renowned for his dedication to crafting wines that reflect the typicity of the land and climate of Sancerre, creating wines that are not only elegant and sophisticated but also endowed with a strong territorial identity. The meticulous care in the vineyard and the meticulous approach in the cellar contribute to creating a Sancerre Blanc Nuance that is both classic and contemporary.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled scallops, or a fresh Caprese with buffalo mozzarella. A true jewel for Sauvignon Blanc lovers seeking a wine that offers a unique sensory experience.

Winery history
The Pinard family has been rooted in the village of Bué for many generations; the family's modern viticultural activities are documented from the early 20th century. In the postwar period Charles Pinard revived the estate, and later Vincent and his wife Colette expanded it by acquiring relatives' vineyards and consolidating production to its present scale. Today the estate is run by the next generation, which has developed a range of single-vineyard cuvées.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to the vineyard: precise work in the vines to express each terroir, with practices oriented toward organic and biodynamic farming. In the cellar, indigenous yeasts are preferred, intervention is minimal, wood is used sparingly, and sulfites are reduced to highlight the agronomic character of the grapes.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is based in Bué, in the Sancerre area of the Loire Valley. The vineyards include parcels on various limestone soils — including outcrops of Kimmeridgian and Oxfordian limestone — and encompass lieux-dits such as Chêne Marchand, Grand Chemarin, Petit Chemarin and Les Créots; the fragmentation into many parcels produces distinctive, site-specific cuvées.
