The Sancerre AOC Comte Lafond from the prestigious Baron de Ladoucette winery is a classic and highly respected expression of Sauvignon Blanc, originating from the renowned Loire region in France. This wine stands out for its elegant freshness and refined complexity.

With a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, this Sancerre offers an intense and lively aromatic bouquet on the nose. Citrus notes such as grapefruit and lime blend with hints of white-fleshed fruits like peach and green apple, enriched by a subtle touch of minerality reminiscent of wet stones, typical of the production region.

On the palate, the Sancerre AOC Comte Lafond by Baron de Ladoucette impresses with its perfect balance between acidity and body. The typical freshness of Sauvignon Blanc harmonizes with a solid structure and a long aromatic persistence. The finish is clean and persistent, with a returning minerality that invites another sip.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, fresh goat cheeses, or as a sophisticated accompaniment to complex salads. Its excellence is guaranteed by the historic expertise of Baron de Ladoucette, a mark of quality and dedication in the production of Sancerre wines.

This Sancerre is not just a wine, but a true sensory experience that celebrates the excellence of viticulture in the Loire. It will be a valuable addition to the selection of any wine lover or sommelier who intends to offer only the best from their cellar.

Winery history
The company's roots date back to the Comte Lafond family, who at the end of the 18th century acquired the vineyards of Château du Nozet in Pouilly. The estate is now owned by the de Ladoucette family, and under the leadership of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette it has expanded to include vineyards and labels in the Sancerre area. The cuvée "Baron de L" was created as the estate's most extreme expression of Sauvignon and is produced only in years considered the best.
