The Sangue di Giuda dell’Oltrepò Pavese by Conte Vistarino is born in the first hilly belt of Oltrepò Pavese, at an altitude of 250–300 meters above sea level, on south and southwest facing slopes. The vineyards root themselves in calcareous-clayey soils, ideal for expressing aromatic freshness and balance.

It is made from a traditional blend of Croatina, Barbera, and Uva Rara, hand-harvested. After destemming and crushing, the crushed grapes macerate for 5 days in cold steel tanks, promoting the extraction of color and aromas. The must is then separated from the skins and transferred to a pressurized tank, where fermentation takes place, later stopped by cooling upon reaching 2.5 atmospheres, thus preserving the natural sweetness of the wine.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red. On the nose, it is rich and delicately aromatic, with an immediate profile and a typical floral scent. On the palate, it is pleasant, elegant, and smooth, with a perfect balance between acidity and natural sweetness, making it extremely enjoyable and easy to drink.
