The Sauvignon of Perusini is an emblematic white wine from the Friuli valley, a land known for its vocation for international grape varieties. This denomination best expresses the aromatic and fresh character of Sauvignon Blanc, grown on mineral-rich soils that contribute to the wine's olfactory complexity.

The aging method, generally brief and carried out in steel, preserves the genuineness and liveliness of the fruity and vegetal notes typical of the grape variety, such as currant, freshly cut grass and intense floral hints. On the palate it is balanced, with good acidity that ensures freshness and persistence, ideal for young consumption.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, shellfish, or fresh cheeses, the Sauvignon of Perusini represents a refined interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc in the Friulian context.

Winery history
The Perusini family has been linked to Friulian viticulture for generations: the family home preserves historical artifacts, and the winery was included by Luigi Veronelli among the "historic winemakers." Over the centuries, family members have selected and promoted indigenous grape varieties—chiefly Picolit and Ribolla Gialla—and that work has been passed down to the current family stewards, who combine tradition with a commitment to research and innovation.
Production philosophy
The company places viticulture at the centre: quality in the vineyard is prioritised to produce wines that express the terroir and the vintage. Its management combines respect for tradition, protection of biodiversity and the adoption of modern winemaking methods. From an environmental standpoint, the company follows sustainable practices and adheres to the principles of certified organic production.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the municipality of Corno di Rosazzo, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The vineyards are cultivated on terraced slopes with Eocene marl soil, which confers distinctive soil and microclimatic conditions and exposure.
