Shochu Chikumanishiki Kizan is a fine Japanese distillate, produced in the Kyushu region, known for its favorable climate and pure waters that deeply influence the quality of the product. Made mainly with Chikumanishiki rice, a native variety appreciated for its finesse and delicate aromatic profile, this shochu represents the meeting of tradition and craftsmanship.

The distillation process takes place using traditional methods, emphasizing the purity and balance of the distillate, without losing the characteristic notes of the rice. The aging occurs in ceramic or steel containers, allowing a slow and steady maturation, enhancing a fragrant and clean bouquet.

On the nose, delicate hints of fresh cereals, slightly floral with a sweet undertone, can be perceived, while on the palate an enveloping softness and a pleasantly dry final persistence are appreciated. This shochu is perfect to be enjoyed neat at room temperature or slightly chilled, accompanying Japanese cuisine dishes such as sashimi, tempura or fish-based dishes, but also more flavorful dishes thanks to its versatile elegance.
