The Shochu Manzen 72 cl, produced by the Yoigokochi distillery, represents a refined expression of the famous Japanese distilled spirit. Originating from the Kyushu region, a historic land renowned for its art in shochu production, this product stands out for the purity and balance typical of the local tradition.

Made mainly with barley, a tribute to the agricultural vocation of the area, the Shochu Manzen presents a delicate yet enveloping aromatic profile, with light earthy notes and toasted accents revealing its slow and careful distillation. Aging in wooden vats gives the distillate a velvety softness that makes it pleasant on the palate, enriched by a body that balances freshness and structure.

This shochu lends itself to multiple tasting methods: excellent enjoyed neat at room temperature to fully appreciate its nuances, but equally versatile if served on the rocks or with an addition of hot water. A perfect accompaniment to typical Japanese cuisine dishes such as tempura or sashimi, but also a surprising choice to pair with fish-based or delicate meat preparations.
