Santi's Soave Classico DOC "Colforte" is a refined and distinctive expression of one of the most famous white wines of the Veneto. This wine is produced in the heart of the classic Soave area, where the volcanic hills offer an ideal terroir for the cultivation of the Garganega vine, the main creator of the freshness, minerality and aromatic complexity of this wine. The Santi winery, with its long history and dedication to quality, carefully selects the grapes to create "Colforte", a Soave Classico which aims to reflect the richness and elegance of its territory of origin.

Visually, it has a light straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that anticipate the freshness and liveliness of the wine. On the nose, it offers an aromatic and inviting bouquet, with notes of white flowers, green apple, citrus fruits and a light minerality, which give the wine a pleasant complexity and distinct elegance.

In the mouth, Santi's Soave Classico DOC reveals itself to be balanced and harmonious, with a well-integrated acidic freshness that supports the fruity and floral notes, enriched by a delicate mineral vein. The structure is light but persistent, with a clean and refreshing finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and invites another sip.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers, fish-based dishes, seafood, white meats and fresh cheeses, the "Colforte" Soave Classico DOC is a versatile wine that adapts to different occasions, always offering a tasting experience of great pleasure.

With his "Colforte", Santi celebrates the tradition and uniqueness of Soave Classico, offering a wine that is the perfect synthesis of tradition and modernity, and which testifies to the winery's commitment to the production of high quality wines, capable of expressing the essence and diversity of the Veneto territory.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
