The Spumante Metodo Classico Lessini Durello DOC Riserva Pas Dosé by Fongaro is born in the charming hills of the Lessini, a terroir suited for the cultivation of the Durella grape, native and distinctive. This blend expresses great freshness and minerality, thanks to a calcareous soil that gives the wine a vibrant structure and a natural sapidity.

The wine follows the strict classical method with a long secondary fermentation that develops into bottle aging of at least 36 months. The absence of liqueur d’expedition (Pas Dosé) enhances the purity and elegance of this sparkling wine, without added sweetness, highlighting aromas of green apple, fresh yeast, almond, and a distinct citrus note.

Perfect as an aperitif, it pleasantly accompanies delicate seafood dishes or refined appetizers, enhancing every bite with its lively acidity and fine, persistent perlage. An experience of great harmony and freshness.

Winery history
Cantina Fongaro was established in Roncà in Lessinia and is reported to have been founded by Guerrino Fongaro in 1975. Over time the estate has focused on the rediscovery and promotion of the indigenous Durella grape, choosing to work almost exclusively with sparkling wines produced using the Traditional Method. Since the mid-1980s the winery has practiced organic farming and developed an artisanal production, personally overseeing every stage from the vineyard to bottling.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to the local grape variety and the terroir, with meticulous hands‑on care in both the winery and the vineyard, exclusive production using the Traditional Method, and certified organic management to reduce environmental impact and showcase the distinctive qualities of Durella.

The vineyards are located in the Monti Lessini area, on soils of volcanic origin; the winery is part of the Lessini Durello denomination and leverages the altitude and mineral-rich soils to produce Durella-based sparkling wines.
