The Tequila Agave Plantation Barbados 2002 Cask Finish by Ocho is a precious meeting between Mexico and the Caribbean. This tequila, produced with 100% Weber Blue agave in the Jalisco region, stands out for its unique aging process: after the traditional double distillation, it rests in ex-bourbon oak barrels and completes its long maturation with a final aging in Barbados 2002 rum barrels, from which it takes its unmistakable character.

In the glass, it presents an intense golden hue, while on the nose it releases complex notes of vanilla, caramel, and tropical fruit well blended with spicy hints of clove and toasted wood. On the palate, it reveals itself to be soft, warm, and enveloping, with a persistence that recalls rum and the sweetness of agave, offering an ideal balance between freshness and roundness.

Perfect to enjoy neat to appreciate its refined complexity, it pairs excellently with spicy dishes from Mexican and Caribbean cuisine.
