The Toscana IGT Bianco Poggio alle Gazze from Tenuta dell'Ornellaia is born in the renowned Tuscany region, where the combination of Mediterranean climate and well-drained soils gives the wine a distinctive character. This white wine, the result of a careful selection of indigenous and international grapes, stands out for the balance between freshness and structure. The aging is carried out with methods that respect the delicacy of the grape variety, preserving the fruity and floral notes typical of the Toscana IGT denomination. On the nose, it opens with elegant aromas of ripe citrus, white flowers, and delicate mineral hints, while on the palate it is soft, with a pleasant acidity and an aromatic persistence that recalls flavors of white-fleshed fruit. Ideal to accompany fish dishes, white meats, or fresh cheeses, this white wine from Ornellaia represents a refined and modern expression of the Tuscan winemaking tradition.

Winery history
Originally conceived as a project by Marchese Lodovico Antinori, the estate has stood out since the 1980s for its use of international varieties and for the meticulous care of its vineyard and cellar. The first commercial vintage was in the 1980s; over the years the property underwent significant changes, including involvement by Robert Mondavi and later full control by the Frescobaldi family. In recent years the commercial name has been updated to reflect the importance of the Masseto label as well.
Production philosophy
The pursuit of terroir expression through blends of Bordeaux varieties, rigorous grape selection, and winemaking practices designed to translate Bolgheri's coastal microclimate into balanced, elegant wines.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the Bolgheri area on the Tuscan coast; the climate is strongly influenced by the Tyrrhenian Sea and the vineyards grow on soils with marine, alluvial and volcanic components that determine the character of the wines.
