The Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOCG - Le Poiane - Bolla represents one of the most noble and complex expressions of the Valpolicella wine tradition, offered by the historic Bolla winery. "Le Poiane", which takes its name from the birds of prey that hover above the Valpolicella vineyards, is a wine that reflects the strength and elegance of this territory, the result of a skilful winemaking practice that uses the "ripasso" method.

This wine stands out for its intense and deep red color, with shades that tend towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and inviting, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherries and plums, enriched by spicy notes of vanilla, black pepper and a touch of tobacco, the result of aging in barrique which integrates complexity and roundness to the profile olfactory.

In the mouth, it reveals a powerful but balanced structure, with silky tannins and a well-integrated acidity that contributes to a pleasant freshness. The review process, which involves a second fermentation of the wine on Amarone and Recioto pomace, gives the wine a full body, enriching it with dense and persistent flavours, with a long and enveloping finish that leaves sensations of ripe fruit and sweet spices in the mouth .

Ideal to accompany rich and structured dishes, such as roast meats, braised meats, game and mature cheeses, this Valpolicella Ripasso also proves to be an excellent companion for meditation evenings, where it can be appreciated for its complexity and depth.
