The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso by Corte Rugolin is distinguished by its richness and complexity, typical of the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, a territory suited to the native grapes Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. This wine is born from an original winemaking technique called “Ripasso,” which involves refermenting the Valpolicella on the Amarone pomace, thus giving it a more structured body and a more intense aromatic profile.

On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, with spicy hints of black pepper and a characteristic touch of vanilla given by aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with soft tannins and a balance between acidity and structure that makes it pleasant to drink. Ideal paired with meat dishes, pasta with ragù, or aged cheeses, this Ripasso is a perfect ambassador of the most authentic Venetian tradition.
