The Vdf Blanc Diplomate from Domaine Abbatucci is an authentic expression of the Corsican terroir, where the winery's organic philosophy harmoniously blends with oenological tradition. This white wine is primarily crafted from indigenous grapes of great allure, which convey a particularly rich and complex aromatic profile.

In the glass, the Vdf Blanc Diplomate presents a bright straw yellow color, foreshadowing an intriguing nose, where notes of ripe white fruit, floral accents, and a slight herbal touch emerge, enriched by a subtle, edgy minerality. On the palate, the wine stands out for its freshness and balance, supported by a good acidic structure, leading to a persistent and pleasant sensation of cleanliness.

Ideal as an aperitif, it splendidly accompanies fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. Its versatility makes it a valuable companion for various culinary pairings, enhancing each meal with elegance and sophistication. A wonderful example of how innovation and respect for the environment can converge in a bottle.

Winery history
The Abbatucci family has been cultivating vineyards in Corsica for generations. In the 1960s Antoine Abbatucci began collecting and planting threatened indigenous grape varieties, creating an important ampelographic collection. Today the estate is led by Jean-Charles Abbatucci, who has converted the estate to biodynamic practices and continues to promote local varieties and historic vineyard parcels.
Production philosophy
The winery's approach is centered on biodynamic viticulture and on respecting the land as a living organism: the use of biodynamic preparations, working according to lunar rhythms, integrating animals into the estate's ecosystem, and experimental practices such as traditional grafting, irrigation with brackish water on experimental plots, and even experiments using music to stimulate the plants.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Taravo Valley in southern Corsica, the vineyards lie on low-to-medium altitude granite soils and are characterised by Mediterranean influence and Corsican maquis.
