Vecchio Amaro del Capo is a distillate that embodies the full aromatic richness of Calabrian herbs. Produced by the renowned Caffo distillery, located in the enchanting landscape of Calabria, this amaro stands out for its unique composition and its carefully curated production process.

Prepared according to a traditional recipe passed down from generation to generation, Vecchio Amaro del Capo uses a blend of 29 herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots from the pristine Calabrian land. Among the ingredients are licorice, anise, thyme, mint, and orange, which are left to infuse in pure alcohol. After the infusion, the liquid is gently distilled to preserve the intense flavors and aromas of the herbs.

The amaro has a light amber color, which immediately invites tasting. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet where the freshness of mint and the intensity of licorice dominate, followed by more subtle notes of chamomile and citrus. On the palate, it is balanced with a pleasant harmony between sweet and bitter, a characteristic that makes it extremely versatile.

Traditionally served chilled at -20°C, Vecchio Amaro del Capo provides a refreshing and digestive drink, perfect at the end of a meal. It is also excellent for pairing with dark chocolate or for use as a base ingredient in innovative cocktails.

A true gem of Calabrian tradition, Vecchio Amaro del Capo represents an excellent choice for those wishing to discover the intensity and passion of Italian artisanal beverages. It reveals a family history and tradition each time it is served, offering moments of pure gustatory pleasure.
