The flagship product of the Caffo distillery, Vecchio Amaro del Capo is one of the best known herbal liqueurs, born from an ancient Calabrian recipe revisited over time by the family at the head of the company for four generations.

Vecchio Amaro del Capo acquires the properties of numerous medicinal herbs, fruit, flowers and roots, all Calabrian natural products macerated in the finest alcohol to aid digestion and give a pleasant sensation of well-being. Part of the ingredients of the preparation are bitter and sweet orange, chamomile, licorice roots and juniper; rich in tonic properties, they give a gentle and delicate flavour, also suitable for the most delicate palates.

Shows a transparent bronze color with coppery reflections. Intense hints of medicinal herbs rise to the nose with fresh aromas of orange and juniper berries, to continue with notes of aromatic herbs and the slight pungent perception of alcohol. It conquers the palate with its pleasant and decisive but at the same time delicate taste with herbaceous and citrus references that gives a long and persistent finish.
