The Vouvray Sec Le Clos, produced by the renowned Domaine Careme, is an excellent example of how the Loire Valley can express wines of great elegance and complexity. This wine is made entirely from Chenin Blanc grapes, a variety that finds one of its highest expressions in the Vouvray region thanks to the clay and limestone soils and the temperate climate.

In the glass, Vouvray Sec Le Clos presents a bright straw yellow color, while the nose immediately reveals notes of ripe white fruits such as pear and apple, alongside floral nuances and a slight mineral touch that imparts freshness and vibrancy. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced: the acidity is vibrant and perfectly harmonizes with the medium-bodied structure, leading to a long and persistent finish that leaves memories of fresh fruit and mineral impressions.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. Its elegance and versatility make it a prized choice for any occasion. Vouvray Sec Le Clos is a testament to Domaine Careme's skill in creating wines that authentically reflect the terroir of their origin.
