The Whisky Vin Santo Wine Cask by Florentis represents a fascinating combination between the Scottish tradition of whisky and the typical elegance of Tuscan Vin Santo, one of Italy’s most famous dessert wines. Produced in a region that manages to combine the aromatic richness of whisky with the sweetness and complexity of dessert wine, this spirit is aged in barrels taken directly from the cellars where Vin Santo rests. This particular maturation method imparts to the whisky enveloping notes of honey, toasted almond, and a slight hint of dried fruit, perfectly harmonized with warm aromas of vanilla and sweet spices.

In appearance, it presents an intense amber color, which anticipates the olfactory and gustatory richness. On the nose, deep and complex aromas emerge, while on the palate one appreciates a velvety smoothness and a persistent finish, where delicate hints of caramel and light tobacco resurface. A sensory experience that well expresses the meeting of two cultures and gastronomic traditions of excellence. Ideal to savor slowly, preferably paired with dry sweets or aged cheeses, to enhance its multiple aromatic facets.
