Production method
After primary aging in charred American white oak barrels the whiskey is blended, subjected to a finishing period in Port wine barrels and then reassembled to achieve the desired aromatic profile. Finishing is an integral part of the process and has no fixed duration: in some expressions it can last up to six months.

Producer history Angel's Envy
Angel's Envy was started as a family project by Lincoln Henderson (Master Distiller) and his son Wes Henderson, with the official co-founding recorded in 2010. The brand grew thanks to its focus on finishing in fortified wine casks; in March 2015 Angel's Envy and related companies were acquired by Bacardi Limited. The production facility and the Brand Home in downtown Louisville opened subsequently (the urban distillery began public operations in 2016).
