The story
A family history continued by the Caslot family for centuries; the estate has been in the same family for a long time and is now managed by Laurie, Emmanuel and Stéphanie Caslot. Estate records and importer materials indicate the family's presence on the site since 1640.
Production philosophy
The estate's approach aims to express the terroir: organic practices and biodynamic practices, with harvesting and winemaking focused on preserving the balance and identity of the vineyard parcels.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Restigné, in the Bourgueil appellation. The vineyards are spread across several crus and soil types — sand, clay, gravel and limestone/tuffeau, depending on the parcels such as Les Galichets, Chevalerie, Busardières and Bretêche. The individual cuvées aim to showcase each terroir.
