A family-owned winery in Franciacorta (Adro, Brescia) specializing in Franciacorta DOCG and Curtefranca still wines; it practices organic viticulture and is distinguished by a patented square-based bottle.
Founded in the early 1990s by Roberto Gatti, Ferghettina has grown from its initial few hectares into a family-run estate now also managed by his children, Laura and Matteo. The estate has expanded production to include both Franciacorta DOCG traditional-method sparkling wines and Curtefranca still wines. It is also known for introducing a square-bottomed bottle designed and patented by the family.
