Franciacorta Saten DOCG di Ferghettina si presenta come un'eccellenza del panorama enologico italiano, concretizzazione di una metodologia produttiva accurata e rispettosa delle tradizioni vinicole della Franciacorta. Questo spumante, ottenuto esclusivamente da uve Chardonnay, si distingue per la sua eleganza e raffinatezza.

Nel calice, il Franciacorta Saten DOCG si mostra con un colore giallo paglierino brillante e riflessi dorati, mentre un perlage finissimo e persistente risale con grazia. Al naso, esprime un bouquet aromatico complesso e avvolgente, dove si riconoscono note di frutta matura come pesca e albicocca, accompagnate da lievi sentori di mandorla e delicate sfumature di fiori bianchi.

Al palato, il Saten di Ferghettina regala un'esperienza gustativa armoniosa e cremosa, sostenuta da una piacevole acidità che ne esalta la freschezza e la persistenza. La bassa pressione di anidride carbonica, tipica del Saten, conferisce a questo vino una bollicina più soffice e vellutata, caratteristica peculiare che lo rende estremamente godibile e versatile negli abbinamenti gastronomici.

Ideale come aperitivo, si sposa magnificamente con antipasti di pesce, frutti di mare e crostacei, ma anche con piatti delicati a base di verdure e formaggi freschi. Un vino che rappresenta al meglio l'arte spumantistica italiana, frutto della passione e della sapienza di Ferghettina.

Winery history
Founded in the early 1990s by Roberto Gatti, Ferghettina has grown from its initial few hectares into a family-run estate now also managed by his children, Laura and Matteo. The estate has expanded production to include both Franciacorta DOCG traditional-method sparkling wines and Curtefranca still wines. It is also known for introducing a square-bottomed bottle designed and patented by the family.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on terroir and quality: parcel-by-parcel work, separate vinifications, adoption of sustainable practices and the pursuit of technical and stylistic solutions that enhance the wine’s characteristics.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located in Adro, in the moraine hills of Franciacorta overlooking Lake Iseo. The estate's vineyards cover approximately 200 hectares across several municipalities of Franciacorta; part is used directly for the estate's production while the remainder is sold.
