The Orvieto Classico DOC "Castello di Titignano" by Tenuta di Salviano is a white wine that embodies the tradition and elegance of the wines of the Umbria region, in particular of the Orvieto area. This area is renowned for the production of high-quality white wines, thanks to the unique composition of its volcanic soils and favorable climate, which give the wines distinctive characteristics of freshness and aromatic complexity. Tenuta di Salviano, with its deep connection to the territory and commitment to sustainable viticulture, produces the "Castello di Titignano" by selecting the best grapes from its vineyards located in the classic area of Orvieto.

The blend traditionally used for Orvieto Classico includes varieties such as Trebbiano Toscano (Procanico), Grechetto, Verdello, Drupeggio and Malvasia, each contributing their own unique characteristics to create a balanced, aromatic and pleasantly fresh wine. The winemaking is careful to preserve the natural aromas of the grapes, with controlled temperature fermentation followed by a short refinement in steel to maintain the freshness and liveliness of the wine.

Visually, the "Castello di Titignano" has a light straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that underline its freshness. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of white pulp fruit such as apple and pear, enriched by floral nuances and a light mineral touch that reflects the uniqueness of the Orvieto terroir.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a lively acidity and well-balanced minerality, which support fresh fruit flavors and citrus notes, leading to a clean and refreshing finish. The structure is elegant and harmonious, with a complexity that invites another sip, making "Castello di Titignano" an excellent example of Orvieto Classico DOC.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light dishes, fish, seafood and appetizers, this wine is also a perfect companion for Umbrian cuisine, enhancing local ingredients with its freshness and aromatic complexity.

In conclusion, the Orvieto Classico DOC "Castello di Titignano" by Tenuta di Salviano is a wine that elegantly enhances the qualities of the typical Orvieto blend, offering a tasting experience that reflects the richness and diversity of the Umbrian territory, confirming the Tenuta di Salviano's commitment to the production of superior quality wines.
