This wine represents the excellence and winemaking tradition of Bordeaux, being produced by one of the most esteemed estates in the area, Chateau Des Laurets.
The estate extends over a significant area of vineyards, planted mainly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc varieties, which find ideal conditions in the local terroir to fully express their character. Chateau des Laurets benefits from the particular climatic conditions and soil rich in clay and limestone of this area, which contribute to giving the wine structure, depth and complexity.
The winemaking process is careful and respectful of traditions, with fermentation conducted in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks followed by aging in French oak barriques, where the wine acquires notes of toasting, vanilla and spices, without ever overpowering the fresh fruitiness of the grapes.
At sight, Chateau des Laurets has a deep ruby red color, tending towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is complex and inviting, with notes of ripe red fruits, plum, cherry jam, alongside nuances of tobacco, chocolate and a delicate touch of aromatic herbs, typical of aging in wood.
In the mouth, the wine is rich and velvety, with soft but structured tannins that support its elegance and persistence. The balance between acidity and body is impeccable, making Chateau des Laurets a wine of great harmony and tasting pleasure. The finish is long and savory, with a pleasant return of the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose.
Ideal in combination with red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses and rich and tasty dishes, the Chateau des Laurets is an emblematic example of Bordeaux savoir-faire in the production of high-quality red wines, capable of evolving and improving with years.
