The CampoFiorin IGT produced by Masi is a red wine that magnificently reflects the winemaking tradition of the Veneto region. This wine is described as "Supervenetian" by the winery itself, a tribute to the demand for quality and the innovative approach in production.

Created by Masi in 1964, CampoFiorin is crafted using the "ripasso" technique, which involves re-fermenting the young wine on the grape pomace of dried grapes used for Amarone. This method endows the wine with greater intensity and complexity. The main grape varieties used are Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, traditional vines of the area.

With a deep ruby red color, this wine opens with a rich and intriguing bouquet, offering aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and subtle hints of spices such as black pepper and tobacco. On the palate, CampoFiorin is robust yet harmonious, with a delicate acidity that balances its tannic structure. Notes of ripe red fruit blend with vanilla and spiced nuances, a result of aging in wood.

This wine pairs beautifully with dishes of red meat, game, and aged cheeses. Additionally, it is an excellent choice to accompany traditional Italian dishes like risotto all'amarone or pasta with wild boar ragù.
