The Turlò IGT by Tenuta di Salviano is a red wine that reflects the oenological excellence of Tenuta di Salviano, located in the evocative setting of Lake Corbara, in Umbria. This wine represents a harmonious fusion of traditional and international varieties, expressing the uniqueness of the Umbrian terroir through a balanced blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Tenuta di Salviano, known for its commitment to the production of quality wines and the care of its viticultural heritage, uses sustainable practices and a careful approach to enhance the distinctive characteristics of each grape variety.

The vinification of Turlò IGT is oriented towards preserving the aromatic notes and structure of the individual vines, with controlled temperature fermentation and maceration which allows for the optimal extraction of colour, tannins and aromas. This is followed by a period of refinement in barrique, which helps to integrate the flavors and give the wine greater complexity and roundness.

Visually, Turlò has a deep ruby red color, with reflections that tend towards garnet with the evolution of time. On the nose, the wine offers a rich and intensely fruity bouquet, with notes of cherry, blackberry and plum, enriched by nuances of spices, cocoa and a light touch of vanilla, testimony to the elegant aging in wood.

In the mouth, Turlò from Tenuta di Salviano demonstrates excellent balance, with soft and well-integrated tannins that blend harmoniously with the acidity. The structure is solid but not oppressive, allowing for pleasant drinkability. The fruity and spicy flavors are repeated on the palate, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a feeling of elegance and satisfaction.

Ideal as an accompaniment to robust dishes of meat, roasts, game and mature cheeses, Turlò IGT is a refined choice for those looking for a red wine with a strong personality and distinctive character, capable of representing the richness and variety of the Umbrian winemaking tradition.
