The Toscana Rosso IGT "Anima" from Agricola Ludus perfectly embodies the essence and spirit of the Tuscan terroir. Produced in one of Italy's most renowned wine regions, this red wine is the result of a skillful selection of both native and international grapes, typically used in the region.

Characterized by an intense red color that hints at its olfactory and gustatory complexity, the Toscana Rosso IGT "Anima" offers an aromatic explosion of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and undertones of Mediterranean herbs, typical of Tuscany's flora. These primary notes are complemented by subtler hints of chocolate and vanilla, the result of its ageing in barrique, which adds a pleasant complexity without overwhelming the fruit.

On the palate, the wine expresses itself with a solid but balanced structure, with mature and well-integrated tannins that confer a velvety texture. The acidity is well balanced, providing freshness and a long-lasting finish that invites another sip.

Ideal to serve with hearty dishes such as red meat roasts, game, or aged cheeses, the Toscana Rosso IGT "Anima" is also capable of evolving magnificently after several years of aging in the cellar, making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts who appreciate wines with aging potential.

With its distinctive character and innate elegance, the Toscana Rosso IGT "Anima" from Agricola Ludus is a fascinating testament to Tuscan winemaking skill and a prestigious addition to any wine collection.

Winery history
Agricola Ludus originated as a project by Luciano Squilloni: the first vines were planted in 2015 within a wildlife and hunting reserve. The estate is family-run, focused on passing down rural values and on respect for nature; Laura Carrera is cited as an operational and organizational presence in the running of the business. Current production is concentrated on a limited area with the aim of controlled growth.

Developing wines that reflect the identity of the territory and respect for the environment: an artisanal approach, sustainable practices and a focus on protecting nature, with a strong family ethos and the intention to pursue organic certification.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Tuscan hills of the Chianti production area, with parcels in the Gambassi Terme, Montaione and Certaldo areas. The soils are described as composed of silica, tuff and clay and are situated within a historic game reserve characterized by woods, fields and streams.
