Winery history Agricola Ludus

Agricola Ludus originated as a project by Luciano Squilloni: the first vines were planted in 2015 within a wildlife and hunting reserve. The estate is family-run, focused on passing down rural values and on respect for nature; Laura Carrera is cited as an operational and organizational presence in the running of the business. Current production is concentrated on a limited area with the aim of controlled growth.

Production philosophy

Developing wines that reflect the identity of the territory and respect for the environment: an artisanal approach, sustainable practices and a focus on protecting nature, with a strong family ethos and the intention to pursue organic certification.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Tuscan hills of the Chianti production area, with parcels in the Gambassi Terme, Montaione and Certaldo areas. The soils are described as composed of silica, tuff and clay and are situated within a historic game reserve characterized by woods, fields and streams. Company address listed: Via Volterrana 24, Borgo Forte, Gambassi Terme.
