"L'UM" it is a red wine that tells extraordinary oenological stories; its name comes from the union of the names of the Lungarotti winery and the Umbria region. A drink whose maturation takes about 10 months in barrique, followed by further refinement of 10 months in the bottle before being marketed. The result is an extremely versatile wine, ideal for presenting daily meals.
Brilliant ruby red color in the glass, with evident violet reflections. The scent is initially warm and fruity defined by clear hints of sour cherry and marasca cherry; these are followed by aromas of fruit in alcohol and hints of cocoa, sweet spices and coffee. The full-bodied taste is perfectly balanced between acidity and tannic texture, good persistence.
A versatile wine that nonetheless expresses its best in combination with mixed grilled meat.
