An organic estate in Montepulciano (SI) producing Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and other Tuscan wines, following traditional methods and using native yeasts for fermentation.
The estate was founded as a local winemaking venture in the 1970s by Alfio Carpini; in subsequent years it grew, also incorporating the La Casella range. In the 1980s a small convent was renovated, giving the estate its name. The Brini family took over management in 2003 and has since pursued organic production and established the brand within the Montepulciano scene.
