Famosissimo is born from a careful selection of grapes grown in the Montegaudio vineyard. After harvesting, the grapes are promptly taken to the cellar where the berries are frozen, before soft and cold pressing, to best enhance the aroma. Maturation is carried out in steel for six months "sur lies", followed by further refinement of 18 months in the bottle.
At the sight it appears of straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Distinct aromas of saffron, green tea and aromatic herbs arrive on the nose. A complex wine, with an intense taste of bergamot and cedar, and a persistent savory note.
A refined white that requires pairings up to "its height", excellent in fact to pair with gourmet seafood dishes and fanciful aperitifs.
