Tempa di Zoè – Winery in Campania

Discover the story and wines of Tempa di Zoè.

A winery in Cilento (Campania) specializing in Aglianico and Fiano grapes, known for labels such as Zero, Diciotto and Asterìas, and based in Agropoli.
Region: Campania
Country: Italia
Grapes: Aglianico, Fiano
Main labels: Zero, Diciotto, Asterìas, XA, Rosè, Xenos. Operational headquarters listed in Agropoli; vineyards cited in the municipality of Torchiara. Zero: the project's historic wine, made from vines planted in 1997. Diciotto: Aglianico vinified from a vineyard reported as planted in 2003. The estate declares agronomic practices oriented towards organic/biodynamic farming.
Winery history
The Tempa di Zoè project was launched as an initiative focused on promoting the Cilento area: the first bottles of the wine 'Zero' come from vines planted in 1997. In subsequent years new plantings were carried out, allowing the venture to develop multiple vineyards in the Cilento area, with production devoted to both white and red wines.
Production philosophy
The estate seeks to emphasize the relationship between sea and hills typical of the Cilento, working the grapes with practices that favor spontaneous fermentations and wood aging for its more structured reds. It also follows an organic/biodynamic approach in its agronomic practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Vines located in the Cilento/Paestum area, with geographic reference to Torchiara and based in Agropoli. The soils cited by the company include the area's typical flysch, with clay and limestone components that influence the style of the wines.
