Obtained from the native grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, this Amarone is distinguished by the meticulous drying of the grapes, which allows for the concentration of sugars and aromas. The result is a structured wine, full-bodied, with aging in wood that enhances its complex and velvety character.

In the glass it presents an intense ruby color with garnet reflections, while the nose reveals notes of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, tobacco, and hints of cocoa. On the palate it shows a surprising balance between softness and vigorous tannins, with an aromatic persistence that tells the Venetian tradition.

Winery history
The Tommasi family has been active in winemaking since 1902, when Giacomo Tommasi purchased the first vineyard in the Valpolicella Classica. Over the 20th and 21st centuries the company evolved into Tommasi Family Estates, acquiring and managing several estates outside Veneto and consolidating its reputation especially through the production of Amarone. Amarone Tommasi is produced according to the traditional appassimento method, and the wine’s historic expression dates back to the late 1950s as a distinctive family product.
