Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG of Luna e I Falo’ is born from the heart of the Piedmont hills, a terroir that gives the Barbera grape intensity and unique depth. This magnum best expresses its structure thanks to a careful selection of the grapes and prolonged aging in wooden barrels, which impart complexity and softness to the wine. In the glass, it presents a bright ruby red color, with garnet reflections typical of the superiore version. On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe wild berries, plum, and cherry, accompanied by delicate spicy hints and subtle notes of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, the sapidity is balanced by good freshness and silky tannins, inviting a long and pleasant persistence. Perfect paired with red meat dishes, roasts, or aged cheeses, it is ideal for those seeking an authentic and characterful wine.

Winery history
Vite Colte was established as a project focused on quality selection linked to the historic cooperative Terre da Vino. The initiative was launched in 2010, and the Vite Colte range of wines was brought to market a few years later, with the first bottlings publicly available from the mid-2010s.
Production philosophy
The production philosophy places the vineyard at the center: shared agronomic protocols with member growers to ensure low yields, manual canopy management, hand harvesting and careful attention to grape ripeness. The aim is a consistent quality standard through integrated pest management and areas of the vineyard in conversion to, or managed under, organic farming.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Barolo, with vineyards and sourcing distributed across the Langhe hills, in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas and in other Piedmontese zones suited to viticulture such as Gavi, Monferrato, Moscato d'Asti and Roero.
