The Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore 2023 BIO from Casa E. di Mirafiore presents a recognizable yet measured character. In the glass it shows an intense ruby with violet highlights; on the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by floral violet notes and a subtle spicy hint that does not overwhelm the fruit. The acidity, typical of Barbera, gives liveliness, while the tannins are well integrated, supporting the structure without becoming intrusive. Elegant balance.

On the palate it offers balance and a clean progression, with fruity returns and a pleasant persistence that invites a second sip. It pairs naturally with flavorful first courses, braised meats and aged cheeses, but is also suitable for everyday dinners thanks to its versatility. Serve at 16–18 °C; if desired, a short oxygenation in a decanter can help open the aromas. Ideal for those seeking an organic red with frank expressiveness and a gastronomic profile.
