Barbera d'Alba DOC by Vajra expresses in a restrained way the character of the grape variety and of the area indicated by the denomination. In the glass one can detect aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, with floral hints and light spicy notes. On the palate it shows lively acidity, soft tannins and medium body, giving an overall balanced and smooth structure. The impression is immediate and composed, suitable for those seeking an everyday red with personality but without excess.

It pairs with simple home-style dishes: pasta with sauce, white meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at about 16–18 °C; for a softer profile, open an hour before serving. It is a versatile choice for informal tables and convivial occasions, offering drinkability and ease of drinking without requiring particular storage conditions. It also pairs well with dishes from traditional Italian cuisine.
