Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo DOCG is an excellent example of how tradition and innovation can meet to produce wines of extraordinary quality and depth. The Giacomo Fenocchio winery, based in the heart of the Langhe, is renowned for its dedication to the traditional winemaking of Nebbiolo, offering wines that reflect the uniqueness and complexity of the Piedmontese territory.

This Barolo has an intense garnet red color, tending towards orange with aging. On the nose, it reveals a rich and complex bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, together with nuances of withered flowers, spices, tobacco and a light grain of leather, which are distinctive of the Nebbiolo variety grown in the best areas of Piedmont.

In the mouth, Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo shows extraordinary structure and power, with solid but elegant tannins and a well-balanced acidity that gives freshness and vitality to the wine. The aromatic complexity is expressed in an enveloping and persistent sip, with a long and nuanced finish, which allows mineral and undergrowth notes to emerge.

Ideal in combination with intense and flavourful dishes, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo is also a wine that benefits from long ageing, during which it can develop further levels of complexity and elegance.
