The Barolo DOCG "San Giovanni" is one of the exceptional wines produced by the renowned Gianfranco Alessandria winery, situated in the heart of the Piedmont region. This wine is presented in a Magnum format (1.5 liters) and comes in an elegant wooden case, making it ideal for both a private collection and a prestigious gift.

The Barolo "San Giovanni," made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, comes from a careful selection of the finest clusters, cultivated on the most favorable slopes of the hills of Monforte d'Alba. The optimal exposure of the vineyards, along with agronomic practices attentive to environmental sustainability, contribute to crafting a wine of extraordinary quality.

Vinification follows traditional methods, with a long maceration of the skins and fermentation under strict thermal control. The wine evolves in French oak barrels, where the Barolo "San Giovanni" matures for at least two years, gaining complexity and harmony.

On an organoleptic level, the Barolo "San Giovanni" stands out for its intense ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, intertwining notes of ripe red fruit, spices, tobacco, and subtle hints of chocolate. On the palate, it is rich and structured, with finely polished tannins and a long, persistent finish.

This cuvée is the result of a meticulous selection and aims to express the typicality of the Monforte d'Alba terroir, promising a memorable tasting experience. Ideal for accompanying rich dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, the Barolo "San Giovanni" by Gianfranco Alessandria is an excellent choice for any collector or high-end wine enthusiast.
