Querciabella's Batar Toscana Bianco IGT is one of the most prestigious and recognized white wines of Tuscany, an excellent expression of how international grapes such as Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco can find their second home in Italy, expressing themselves with unique characteristics thanks to the Tuscan terroir. Querciabella, a winery located in the heart of Tuscany, is renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture, an approach that is reflected in the high quality of its wines.

Batar originates from a scrupulous selection of the best grapes, which are harvested by hand and carefully selected to guarantee maximum varietal and territorial expression. The fermentation and refinement of the wine take place in French oak barriques, partly new and partly used, for a period that usually varies between 9 and 12 months. This process gives the Batar a notable complexity and structure, enriching it with aromatic nuances that range from ripe fruit to more delicate and mineral notes, without ever overpowering the elegance and freshness of the fruit.

Visually, the Batar presents itself with a bright and inviting golden yellow color. On the nose, it offers an intense and complex bouquet, with aromas of apple, pear, peach and citrus fruits, enriched by hints of vanilla, butter and a light toasting due to the aging in wood. The mineral component is well present, adding depth and refinement to the aromatic profile.

In the mouth, the wine shows great harmony and balance, with a lively freshness that supports the rich and structured body. The well-integrated acidity leads towards a long and persistent finish, in which the fruity and mineral notes perceived on the nose return, together with a pleasant creaminess that envelops the palate.

Ideal as a classy aperitif or paired with sophisticated dishes of fish, shellfish, white meats and creamy cheeses, Querciabella's Batar Toscana Bianco IGT is a wine that amazes with its elegance and depth, representing one of the highest expressions of white wine in Tuscany and a shining example of Querciabella's philosophy and craftsmanship.

Its stated goal is to produce wines that express the terroir while maintaining high environmental and biodiversity standards.
