The Bianco IGP Ferentano by Cotarella is born in the historic Ferentano area, in the heart of Lazio, a territory suited for the production of fresh and aromatic white wines. This label is characterized by the use of indigenous grape varieties, often highlighting Malvasia and Trebbiano, which provide complexity and balance to the wine. The winemaking process, carefully managed, involves aging in steel at a controlled temperature to preserve its fragrance and liveliness.

In the glass, it appears with a bright straw yellow color, accompanied by floral aromas and notes of white-fleshed fruit, such as peach and apple, with a slight mineral hint that enriches the bouquet. The sip is harmonious, fresh, and well-structured, ideal for enhancing fish dishes, light appetizers, and vegetable-based first courses. This Bianco IGP Ferentano fully expresses the essence of the Lazio territory through a pleasant drinkability and a clean taste that invites the next glass.

Winery history
The family's roots date back to the 1960s; brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco project in 1979. In the years that followed, leadership passed to the next generation and the group evolved into Famiglia Cotarella, expanding its vineyard holdings and acquiring new estates. The company has also conducted research and initiatives to recover local grape varieties such as Roscetto.
Production philosophy
The pursuit of territorial expression through the integration of tradition and innovation: a focus on enhancing indigenous grape varieties, experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and training and social responsibility projects linked to the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are mainly located across Lazio and Umbria, with sites also in Tuscany. Soils are often of volcanic origin in the areas surrounding Lake Bolsena.
