The Bourgogne Rouge from Laurent Cognard & Co represents a splendid expression of the Burgundian terroir. This wine comes from the renowned vineyards of Burgundy, a region famously celebrated for producing high-quality wines. Laurent Cognard, known for his artisanal dedication and meticulous attention to detail, continues a winemaking tradition that highlights the varietal characteristics of the famous Pinot Noir grape.

The ruby red color of this Bourgogne Rouge captures the eye, promising a highly rich olfactory and gustatory experience. On the nose, notes of wild red fruits such as cherries and strawberries stand out, enriched by nuances of undergrowth and light spices, imparted by careful aging in French oak barrels. This process gives the wine a subtle hint of vanilla that blends perfectly with the natural aromas, resulting in a harmonious and inviting bouquet.

On the palate, the Bourgogne Rouge from Laurent Cognard & Co offers a balanced taste that reflects the freshness of the fruit with a medium-light structure, fine but well-present tannins, and a persistence that invites a second sip. It is an elegant wine, best enjoyed when served at a temperature of 16-18°C, and can accompany a variety of dishes, from white meats to vegetarian dishes based on mushrooms and root vegetables.

Ideal for any collector who wishes to have a classic example of Bourgogne Rouge in their cellar, this wine is capable of evolving and improving further if allowed to age for a few years.

Laurent Cognard & Co makes this wine a testament to the Burgundian skill in creating red wines that combine complexity and drinkability, making it an excellent choice for any occasion that calls for a touch of style and class.
