The Pouilly Loche Origines VV De 1935, signed by Laurent Cognard & Co, is a true gem of Burgundy, a rare and precious expression of the Loche terroir. This wine is produced using old vines dating back to 1935, a viticultural heritage that adds a unique complexity to the wine.

A brilliant golden yellow color, the Pouilly Loche Origines VV De 1935 reveals an intensely aromatic bouquet on the nose. Notes of white flowers like jasmine and acacia blend with hints of ripe peaches and green apples, while subtle nuances of hazelnut and toasted bread further enrich the olfactory profile.

On the palate, this wine shows remarkable structure, balanced by a lively freshness that leads to a long and persistent finish. The minerality is pronounced, typical of the limestone soils of Loche, and harmoniously intertwines with a slight creaminess, a result of aging on the lees.

It is a wine that can be appreciated now but also has great aging potential, thanks to its well-balanced acidity and complexity from the old vines. Ideal pairing with refined dishes like grilled lobster, porcini mushroom risottos, or aged goat cheeses.

With the Pouilly Loche Origines VV De 1935, Laurent Cognard & Co has created a true expression of elegance and tradition, offering a rich and memorable sensory experience for lovers of high-quality white wine.

Winery history
The Cognard family originates from the Mâconnais. Laurent acquired his first vineyards in 1997 and became a full-time winemaker in 2006. The estate later moved into the premises of Château de Buxy, where a cellar and tasting room were created to support the estate’s development.
