This Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 in magnum format, offered by Camigliano in its elegant wooden case, expresses a clear and refined character. On the nose it opens with ripe red fruit—cherry and plum—accompanied by floral hints and a weave of sweet spices and light earthy notes that add depth without weighing it down. On the palate it shows good balance: full-bodied yet fluid, tannins clearly present but polished, acidity that provides tension, and a savory element that extends the tasting to a convincing finish.

The sip is measured and elegant, ideal for those seeking a Brunello balanced between structure and finesse; it deserves a few hours of decanting before serving to harmonize its components. It pairs with red meats, roasts, braised dishes and aged cheeses, but also stands up well to more structured dishes of traditional cuisine. The magnum format and wooden case make it excellent for cellaring or as a high-quality gift, with good prospects for further evolution in bottle.
