The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Barturot MAGNUM from Cà Viola is a red wine that enchants with its aromatic richness and balanced structure. Produced in the heart of the Piedmont region, this wine is a true emblem of the area.

Intense on the nose, the Dolcetto d'Alba Barturot reveals enticing notes of ripe cherry, plum, and spicy touches that gradually unfold. The uniqueness of these vines, grown in optimally sunlit locations, is that they manage to impart a pleasantly harmonious olfactory complexity to the wine.

On the palate, the wine is rich and round, characterized by soft tannins that blend well with the typical acidity of the Dolcetto variety. The finish is clean and persistent, with an aftertaste that recalls berries and light hints of amaretto, which are distinctive of the variety.

With an alcohol content around 13.5%, this wine is an excellent choice to accompany Piedmontese dishes, such as tajarin with sausage sauce or appetizers based on robust cured meats and cheeses.

Presented in a MAGNUM (1.5 liters) format, this Dolcetto d'Alba Barturot is not only a pleasure to taste but also a striking visual presence, ideal for special occasions or as a precious gift for wine enthusiasts. Guided by the wine-making experience of Cà Viola, this label continues to tell the story of the richness of Alba's terroir with every sip.

Winery history
Ca' Viola was established from the winemaking activity of Giuseppe Caviola. The estate took its first steps in the early 1990s, beginning with leased vineyards in Montelupo Albese and its first artisanal vinifications. Over time the business has developed wines of Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo; the production site and hospitality activities are concentrated in Dogliani.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on terroir and quality: production focused on expressing local grapes through minimally invasive vinification, research that blends tradition and innovation, and oenological consultancy to deepen the understanding of wine in its various aspects.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate works vineyards in the Langhe, with principal plots in Montelupo, in Novello and in Bossolasco. The vines are tended on steep slopes and at elevations that contribute structure and longevity to the wines.
Awards and recognitions
Among the advertised accolades is the Barolo Novello 2018, which was awarded five grapes by Bibenda. Founder Giuseppe "Beppe" Caviola is cited as Enologist of the Year in several secondary sources.
