Champagne Brut by Champagne Théophile is a selection representative of the elegance and refinement that characterize champagne, one of the most famous and appreciated sparkling wines in the world. This brut champagne is the result of careful selection of grapes and meticulous winemaking, which aim to capture the essence of the unique terroir of the Champagne region of France.

Champagne Théophile Brut is produced following the traditional champenoise method, which involves a second fermentation in the bottle. This process gives the wine its characteristic effervescence and distinctive aromatic complexity. The selection of grapes, typically a combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, is essential to ensure a perfect balance between acidity, body and aromatic profile.

In appearance, Champagne Théophile Brut has a brilliant straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage, which anticipates the quality and elegance of the wine. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of fresh fruit, such as apple and pear, citrus accents and nuances of white flowers, enriched by a light hint of toasted bread and yeasts, the result of sur lie aging.

In the mouth, this champagne stands out for its liveliness and freshness, with a balanced acidity that supports the richness of the fruit and a pleasant creaminess that adds complexity to the sip. The finish is clean and refreshing, with an aromatic persistence that invites another sip.

Champagne Théophile Brut is versatile and suitable for different occasions, both as an elegant aperitif and paired with a variety of dishes. It goes beautifully with light appetizers, seafood, fish and poultry dishes, as well as soft cheeses. Its freshness and liveliness also make it an excellent companion for celebrating special moments.

In conclusion, Champagne Brut by Champagne Théophile represents a classic and pleasantly accessible expression of champagne, offering a tasting experience that combines tradition, quality and pleasure. A true tribute to the joy and art of viticulture and winemaking in the Champagne region.

Winery history
The Théophile brand recalls an old label that enjoyed great success in the 1930s in Montparnasse. Today the Théophile cuvée has been relaunched and is produced by Maison Louis Roederer, remaining faithful to the style that made it popular.
Production philosophy
An accessible yet well-crafted Champagne: consistent blending, the use of reserve wines, and winemaking that prioritizes freshness and roundness. This approach uses Roederer’s younger vines together with Pinot Meunier sourced from traditional areas to achieve a harmonious and recognizable profile.
Terroir and vineyards
Appellation Champagne. The base of the cuvée comes from the Louis Roederer estate's young vines, supplemented by Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the western part of the Montagne de Reims.
