Winery history
A family-owned estate with a long-standing presence in the Chavot-Courcourt area. The property is led by members of the Laherte family, with Aurélien Laherte among the more recent generation; he has revitalized the estate and emphasized parcel-by-parcel vinification and respect for the terroir. Contemporary sources note the estate’s family origins and its generational continuity to the present day.
Production philosophy
Orientation toward "terroir wine": respect for soil diversity, vinifications targeted to each individual vineyard parcel, extensive use of wooden vessels for aging, reduced interventions in both the vineyard and the cellar, and production of cuvées with low or no dosage added and, in some cases, without added sulfites.
Terroir and vineyards
Work is carried out on many different parcels to highlight the terroir’s micro-expressions.
