The Venezia Giulia IGT Chardonnay from Cantina Attems is an example of a white wine that perfectly embodies the elegance and varietal finesse typical of this international grape, but with a distinctive regional touch. Grown in the picturesque vineyards of Friuli Venezia Giulia, this Chardonnay benefits from an ideal microclimate that contributes to developing a rich aromatic complexity and vibrant freshness.

In the glass, the wine presents a bright straw-yellow color, with greenish reflections that anticipate its freshness. On the nose, fruity notes of green apple and white peach are immediately distinguishable, enriched by nuances of citrus and a light floral touch. On the palate, the Venezia Giulia IGT Chardonnay from Attems reveals a well-balanced structure: the lively acidity blends harmoniously with a delicate creaminess, highlighting an elegant minerality typical of the terroir of this area.

The fermentation and brief aging in stainless steel preserve the freshness and authenticity of the fruit, allowing the wine to fully express the varietal characteristics of the Chardonnay together with those of its environment. It pairs beautifully with delicate fish dishes, seafood, and can also be excellent as an aperitif.

This wine not only demonstrates the winemaking mastery of Attems but also offers a sensory experience that brings to mind the vivacity and purity of the Friulian nature. Ideal for those seeking elegance and refinement in a white wine, the Chardonnay Venezia Giulia IGT represents an excellent choice for any occasion.

Winery history
The name Attems is linked to the family's long presence in the Colli del Friuli: documents record vineyard holdings as early as 1106 and production entries in the master ledgers of 1764. The estate has endured the area's historical changes and, since 2000, has been managed by the Marchesi Frescobaldi group, which has preserved its identity and commitment to the local territory.
Production philosophy
Production focused on expressing the terroir: careful vineyard management and winemaking that respect its balance, showcasing native and international grape varieties from the Collio.

Vineyards on terraced slopes of the Collio Goriziano, south-facing and sheltered from the winds; on 'ponca' soils typical of the area, providing favorable conditions for white wines of precision and finesse.
